Couldn't find a fix a joke I wanted to do so I just made up my own.
Recently acquitted rapper Sean Combs says he's not blowing smoke. He's planning to change his name from "Puffy" to one of his other nicknames P. Diddy. He did express sorrow that his first choice "Barney" was already taken! He also stated he would like to have a name change ceremony with another beleaguered celebrity appearing with him. He specifically mentioned former President Bill Clinton as the one to help him out. If Clinton is his choice, maybe he ought to stick with "Puffy" after all!!!
President Bush stood firm on his rejection of the Kyoto Treaty on global warming. With the recent energy crisis in the U.S. he felt that providing additional heat to the world would be "just too expensive" right now!
Last Thursday an appeals court overturned the conviction of married Wall Street executive James McDermott, accused of giving insider information to x-rated movie actress Kathryn Gannon, also known as "Marylin Star", during an affair. Gannon allegedly "passed tips" from McDermott to another lover, New Jersey businessman Anthony Pomponio. She also passed herpes, crabs and a disease to be named later.
Ytossie Patterson and Taheed Watson filed suit against Fox TV's "Temptation Island" this week. The couple were booted off the show when Fox revealed they had a two-year-old child together making their further participation "inappropriate". Apparently, Fox didn't think Taheed could father another illegitimate child before season finale!
Gary Stearley, a homeless man, received a six month sentence for posing as a doctor at hospitals in at least two states. Stearly posed as doctor "Joshua Caldwell" at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Apparently, he aroused suspicion by being compassionate and accurately diagnosing several patients on their first visit.
Hospital bills totalling more than $11,000 have been paid by the U.S. Navy following the collision between an Navy submarine and a Japanese fishing trawler. 35 people were aboard when the sub surfaced beneath the trawler on February 9th. Nine crew members are still missing but the Navy hopes they will turn up on future episodes of "Survivor" or "Temptation" Island.
