Central Soya
September 16, 2002

To Whom It May Concern,

Bob Zany performed for Central Soya Company, Inc.’s Processing divisional meeting on September 7th, 2002.

My first contact with Bob was a few hours before the show. I found Bob to be a very personable and likable guy. Bob took time to gather information on our company and industry over the phone, and then later in person. By incorporating our company and the audience into his act, he personalized the show for the audience. He asked for guidelines on his show, and then he stuck by them. His good natured “ribbing” of people in the audience was a hit, even to those he was picking on.

Bob performed for about 35 minutes, and he had people laughing so hard they were crying. Many people had come up to me before that night asking if the entertainment was worth staying for since it was our last night. I assured them that it would be. To a man, those same people came back expressing their gratitude for encouraging them to stay.

To say the least, The Bob Zany act was a major success. To say the most, this might help my career.

Sincerely,

Brian Scott
Systems Manager/Accounting Supervisor

Stand-Up Management

Dear Alan:

I want to thank you for once again providing the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company with an excellent reference for an unforgettable Holiday Party.

Bob Zany’s comedic act was absolutely hilarious. Everyone enjoyed his quick wit and tasteful sense of humor. I really appreciate how Bob was able to get the audience involved in his act. No one was safe from his antics: Bob’s comments were directed at the CEO, the photographer, the opening remarks, the door prizes, the bartender, and even the DJs; not to mention anyone else who somehow brought attention to themselves. Everyone in the room had a good laugh and really enjoyed the evening because of Bob.

I realize that because of Bob’s father, it was not easy for him to do the wonderful job that he did for us. My company enjoyed the evening without flaw because of Bob, and as a result of this dedication and talent, I can definitely be added to his fan list.

Thanks again,

Kathy Conlin

Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon
September 12, 2001

Dear Bob,

You were sensational. I have a problem. I gush when I am enthusiastic regarding a performer. I asked you for a heavy-duty commitment. My confidence in you never wavered because I KNEW you were the right person to work with Casey. You validated me. I asked you to step in and deliver. Bob, you stepped up the plate and hit a home run.

We were all overjoyed with your contribution. This show gives very inventive performers, such as your self, a chance to be on stage and help sick children. It’s a good thing.

As you were more involved this year, you can see this production has massive logistics, which can be overwhelming. Each year we have an anxiety. Who can we rely on and “can we do better than last year.” Well, we did the best ever.

It must be nice to know you gave your gift of talent and that gift may get a child out of a wheelchair.

On behalf of Jerry, his Kids, MDA and all of us who care for the right reason, I thank you for being there.

Sincerely,

Eddie Foy III
Senior Talent Consultant

Jerry Lewis DA Telethon
September 7, 2001

Dear Bob,

Only a short time has passed since the completion of the most successful telethon ever in the Jerry Lewis/Muscular Dystrophy’s long history. The 56 million dollars “plus” set a new and exciting record for us and will succeed even further in underwriting the research and patient care so needed to conquer this horrendous disease. And we will conquer it because we will have the funds because of the contributions of the wonderful performers who gave their time and talent so that we could send the message loudly and clearly to the American television audience.

Not only did you do your usual first class spot this year, but you were also superb in the overnight hours. You did just as I wanted, funny and loose and on target.

Those hours are hard and fast and difficult and I worry bout them a lot. This year, thanks to your help and humor, they were as good as any I can remember. So thank you for being there on short notice and for being sensational as well.

Thank you for your dedication and a job well done.

Sincerely,

Lee miller

Dear Bob,

I just want to tell you how absolutely hilarious you were last night at our 50th birthday roast for my brother Harley. It was a sensational night, and you were the crowning jewel. You played the crowd letter perfect and, in case you didn’t notice, everyone was o the floor from the beginning of your routine to the very end.

I know I’ll have opportunities in the future to call on you again, and it would be my pleasure to recommend you to anyone who would like to hire a first-rate, stand-u[p comedian. Again, thank you so much for joining us last night.   It was a real pleasure getting to know you.

Dear Bob:

Thanks again for agreeing to entertain my crowd at the Fairmont dinner. You were terrific!

Often political dinners are thought to be somewhat dull affairs; fortunately your humor and perspective provided an amusing and enjoyable evening for all the guests. I heard many favorable comments from attendees; even your joke about the “carpenters” was fine.

Again, thank you for your performance. I really enjoy your work and hope to stay in touch.

Warm regards,

Bill Lockyer.

Jerry Lewis Stars Across America

Dear Bob,

Well you did it again.

You just calmly walk out on the stage and you have the audience in your back pocket. As always you were wonderful. The years of your schooling…the knowledge of the audience…your total sense of professionalism came right to the front.

Your segment was delightful…the reaction has been sensational…calls about you have been one hell of a lot… in other words you were the best…a great topper to one of the excellent telethons we’ve done and you were there to be a major part of it.

I fall down at the way you just go forward and ignore all the bull…you have the ability to make things happen and that’s what makes you soooo very good!

Thanks my friend,

Most Sincerely,

Eddie Foy III

Dear Mr. Zany,

On behalf of The Forethought Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Fortune 500 Hillenbrand Industries, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation with regard to your performance at our International Sales and Marketing Conference in Palm Springs in December.

Your performance before our sales and marketing group met our every expectation and then some. Your witty, spontaneous and rapid-fire brand of humor was uniformly entertaining to our widely diverse group. The audience participation in your performance added a special dimension and increased our group’s overall enjoyment.

The research and reading you did on our company in preparing for your appearance no doubt added significantly to the overall positive reaction and the impression that your performance had been tailored to the audience.

Once again, thanks to you for a most entertaining evening and accept our best wishes for success in the future.

Sincerely,

Michael E. James

Fore Thought

To whom it may concern:

Bob Zany entertained at our International Sales conference December 13, 1997 in Palm Springs, California and he was a smashing success. He performed his stand-up routine for our group of over 100 sales representatives, managers, and home office associates.

We were seeking a professional comedian to close out our final day of meetings, and selected Bob from among a number of well-known performers. We made the right choice. Bob’s material was fresh, fast paced, and his delivery was superb. His choice of material and topics was also well suited to a corporate audience.

I intend to recommend Bob to meeting planners in our other operating companies, and would look forward to working with him again. If your company has a “work hard, play hard,” culture like ours, and is seeking some comic relief, you’ll get more than you bargained for with Bob.

Sincerely yours,

Mark A Jorgensen
Vice President & General Manager.

Dear Bob,

“It’s just business baby.” “Yea…right Ed.”

I hit the damn floor. You put me away. Bob, a big thank you for your presence, time, talent because you were perfect. I can say without any hesitation your appearance was a wonderful delight to us all, especially me!

Zany, you did it again. You were a smooth success. The whole set went super. You delivered a joy and laughter with your delicious fun. It’s refreshing that giving show people make the time so vital and my task so easy. I may be repeating myself but I die at your creativity. When you did the Ed bit…truthfully…I was on my face. It’s funny how one tiny piece will stay with you.

Jerry said to me when he saw you were coming, “Well, now your happy…you got Zany…” He was absolutely correct.

When kids need help and the call goes out to sensitive performers, such as your self, the response is affirmative and it gives me continued faith in the family of entertainment.

Bob, I thank you, Jerry thanks you, the kids thank you and most of all humanity thanks you. Keep Labor Day open in 1996. If I’m there…you’re there.

With much respect,

Eddie Foy III
